National Car Control Centre
Car accidents are on the rise in the UK- thanks to an increasing surge in the number of private vehicles and an equally increasing number of rash and untrained drivers- who not only put themselves at risk, but also pedestrians and other people at risk as well. The NCCC has come out with an interesting statistic- that almost 64,000 accidents to have taken place in 2005 owed their existence to a skid!
Thus NCCC or the National Car Control Centre has rolled out skidpan and related young driver training programs that aim to train drivers right at the inception of their driving spree and equip them to handle such conditions. These driver training programs are great for everyone and should be considered as an option by those looking to be in a commanding position at the time of a mishap as these programs enable you to make quick and life saving decisions, when you and people around you need them the most.
